Gringo Jack's - Manchester Center

Ordered the street corn dip app special. Was congealed mozzarella cheese with a couple corn kernels. We told our waitress it was inedible, and she took it off the bill. We got 2 orders of the chipotle shrimp appetizers as our meal.. they were shrimp smothered and fried in barbecue sauce. Ordered a jalapeño margarita without sour mix, but it came out with excess sour mix. Was excited to visit from out of state.

Probably the best mexican restaurant in Manchester, maybe the only service was great margaritas were on point ? cool spot

The restaurant itself is very nice, the service is good and folks that work there are friendly but the food is horrible. Has absolutely no flavor, the ingredients are not fresh and everything is bland. Anyone who says the food here is good has never has good Mexican food. I have been here twice and had the same experience both times. The red Chile sauce they use on most dishes is not good, it kind of tastes like bbq sauce. What make it worse is the food is extremely expensive. I had an entrée and drink and it was over 50 dollars for one person.

Service was great. The food was excellent.Not the spot for you if you are looking for a party fun vibe, but checks all other boxes.Tried the chicken fajitas and veg trio, followed by a dessert sampler. All good choices.

I mainly wanted to go here because the building was just so cool, which it definitely was inside and out. When I went in, the staff were nice enough but it was really dead and I was basically the only customer. The food was kind of bland for being Southwestern but perhaps it was just the dish that I got. However, it’s very pricey for the type of food it is so I’m not sure when I’ll go back to try something else. The interior is worth checking out at least once if you’re an old building lover, though.
