Each dish I tried was so tasty, I wanted to lick the plate. They use fresh ingredients and everything tastes homemade. The atmosphere is not pretentious, it's rustic and reminds me of Jamie's Italian, but with better flavors. Their seafood dishes are fantastic, especially the fish. They also have a steak night special for £10 on most days, which is perfect for a Friday night out. I can't wait to have my next meal at Azzurro!
I had a fabulous meal at this restaurant. It was fantastic! The seafood was amazing and the service was excellent. The authentic Italian cuisine really hit the spot.
Awful. I am extremely disappointed with the service at Azzuro. It took 30 minutes for our order to be taken, even though the restaurant was not full. Other customers who arrived after us were served much quicker. Additionally, I was unable to order more than one drink due to the waiter's indifference. It felt like we had somehow offended the waiter, which is not the experience I expect from a restaurant. I will not be returning to Azzuro. The food was average at best.
True Blue. There's no lack of local competition in the culinary hotspot of DIdsbury and this tiny Italian named after the national football team plays in the top league. The menu is limited but good and the service friendly and efficient. Its priced more for special occasions than casual dining although there's an early bird menu that's excellent value book to be sure of a table at weekends.
