Freezing cold not a venue for winter food was good staff brilliant
Second time here. Absolutely the best cooked steak in the city even when compared with the well known more expensive Hawksmoor and Gaucho. The setting in an old railway depot with other restaurants and bars . Heaters at Baratxuri made it comfortable in this space. Our waitress was excellent. Knowledgeable, attentive (but not overly so) and a real pleasure to engage with. We got there at opening time and it was relatively quiet but I am sure it will get much busier later. The place is literally a stone’s throw from Piccadilly train station.
Fantastic food, but the place was freezing cold. Lots of heaters around, but they didn't seem to make a difference. In fact, it seemed colder inside than outside! Shame really as it was excellent otherwise. I'll be going back, but in the spring/summer.
Food was good, some of the pintoxs were cold and probably sat for a whilee, I'm guessing this is down to COVID-19 and low number of covers which is understandable.
