We have been dying that we haven't been able to get mexican food, but this place did it for us! We got tacos and a burrito. Tacos had: Chicken w/ cactus leaves (mild) Chicken (spicy) Jackfruit (vegetarian) Pinto beans onions cilantro little cheese guac salsa pico de gallo Burrito had: Chicken w/ cactus leaves (mild) Rice black beans onions cilantro little cheese guac salsa pico de gallo Everything was DELICIOUS they were very decent sized. However, because it was so juicy and tender, our tortillas were slightly falling apart when eating so we ending up just using a fork to eat the inside. Very filling and again, very tasty! I'd definitely come back.
You know those places where you don't want to tell too many people about just in case popularity ruins them...this is one of those places! I'm writing this wondering if I'm actually going to hit post at the end Wow what a burrito, I'd go as far to wager that they are the best this side of the Atlantic, I had a pretty good one in San Francisco that was 2lbs in weight (yes of course I finished it). These are not quite as big as that but perfectly portioned for around the £6-7 mark for a burrito and none of that **** about extras like guacamole costing you more, just one price based on the main filling and then fill your boots (not literally, that would be weird) with all of the other adages. I highly recommend the pork, lamb and beef...but that said I'd probably stretch that too everything if I tried everything, sadly I don't get into town enough to eat here. They even have vegan options, so you can bring that fussy vegan friend along (j/k). Anyway...do I press post, I'm a giving kinda guy so yeah I guess I will
Been here a couple times and each time had the Pulled Pork Economy Meal deal for £3.99. You get 8 burrito with rice, salsa verde and refried beans. Quite a good deal I think and a reasonable sized lunch. The burrito tastes good. Nice flavour. You get about 3 different options for the meal deal but if you just go for a burrito (no deal), you get choice of several different fillings. I will need to try them soon I think!!
Situated within the arndale MARKET food court (NOT just the arndale food court where KFC is) which I find is an excellent foodie hub for some of my favourite eateries. Pancho's Burritos are so popular, that they have 2 outlets here! And it's needed, they're very busy at lunch times. Offering differing sizes, types of burritos with a host of different arrangements of fillings it always hits the spot. They're so friendly and the service is quick and efficient. I'm a pancho's fan!
Wow! This was just what I needed. I was skeptical based on the location off the mall in the market, but the great Yelp reviews persuaded me and boy was I glad! I went for the pork and cactus enchiladas they were tacos and not baked enchiladas but we're bursting with flavour. The corn tortillas were dipped in amazing green chilli sauce, filled generously with the pork, and topped off with lettuce, classic guacamole, and salsa. It was as authentic as you'll get over here and was such delicious comfort food! The three enchiladas were really generously filled for £5.99 and I went for the meal deal for £6.99 with chips and salsa and a drink which ended up being a lot of food for one. I'd highly recommend it! I went on a Saturday at lunchtime and it was pretty busy to try to find a seat but I did get one which was good.
