Good food at low prices, staff were polite and I will definitely be back to try other dishes again soon.
I visited the food truck outside the British Muslim Heritage Centre and found the £5 fish burger meal to be an excellent value. The chips were just regular chips, but they came with a delicious sweet/lightly spicy tomato sauce and tartar sauce, both of which I enjoyed. The burger was made with a very fresh piece of fish, definitely a step up from McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.
I ordered fish and chips to go, and it was quite good. However, I felt the portion size could have been a bit larger. The wait time was also longer than I anticipated. Would I return? Probably yes, but I hope the wait will be shorter next time.
During my visit on a Sunday afternoon, there was a steady stream of customers eating in and taking out. I ordered the double chicken burger and cheesy chips for £7.80. The wait time was about 40 minutes, but the line seemed to keep growing. When my food finally arrived, it was hot and freshly prepared. The chicken burger was flavorful, featuring tender breast meat, spicy sauce, and a bit of salad. The chips came with two dips—chili and garlic—as well as a bottle of water. The venue was clean and tidy, and the staff were well-presented and provided excellent service. I would definitely eat here again. If this review was informative enough for you, I would give it a thumbs up!
