The restaurant offered a serene atmosphere away from the bustling crowds on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered chicken cakes with mashed potatoes and heaps, which turned out to be a smaller portion than I had anticipated. There were no baked elements on the torte, and the top was more moussey than what I expected. I was given a small container to take home some leftovers. The pie was delightful, the tables were clean, and I appreciated having a large teapot filled with piping hot tea, just as I requested.
The bar and staff were lovely. The place runs smoothly during breakfast time, but I deducted a star because of the high prices. I paid £3.10 for a regular glass of orange juice that should only cost about £0.10. Overall, I had a very positive experience.
Perfect for a quick drink or a bite to eat before your journey. The highlight is the view of the Central Station Congress, which creates a spacious and airy atmosphere. While the prices are in line with the location, they are reasonable for an inner-city square. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This is definitely my favorite spot among all the options available at Piccadilly Railway Station.
I've been dipped into the Hourglass café before my train. the 2 young were so friendly and helpful. I asked for soy milk for my tee. they had no supplies, but when and brought me something. was here a few times and was always impressed by the customer service
