Nice Sunday dinner. would have preferred more potatoes. Nice and quiet

My visit was a return to my old pub. I was welcome and enjoyed a good meal. The Vale Cottage is a great little pub.

Nice little pub. Camra winner as well as a number of usual. Odd check opening hours so before avoiding disappointment.

Nice house cooked food, a real treasure. Great service all around, well maintained Guinness and Lagiers.

Excellent local pub. I've been coming to this pub since the mid to late 80's. It's a top quality traditional English pub that appeals to older clientele. This is not a place where you will be alongside a group of rowdy young people, it's just not that kind of place. It's a place to sit with friends and have a good conversation over a few drinks. Once inside you could be forgiven for thinking that you are in a small village in the middle of nowhere, it's that kind of place.
