Stumbled to this place by chance! Best ramen in Manchester, you can really tell everything is authentic and home-made. Noodles were freshly made, as well as the broth. Both delicious! Janven (Bebe) provided some quality service, will be coming back again!

Delicious. Filling. Great Service (handled well in busy periods) and they take the time to teach you how to use chop sticks in a very clever way.

For my main course, I ordered two ramen bowls: the classic shoyu and the tantan. The shoyu was fantastic and full of umami—the crushed pork belly was likely the best I've had outside of local chains in Osaka and Tokyo. It was rich, crispy, and bursting with flavor, rather than just being cooked and cut. I don't usually order tantan ramen since I tend to go for miso, shio, or shoyu, but I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the spicy kick was too intense and overshadowed the flavor of the broth for me. On the other hand, the fried chicken was much more appealing compared to the starter, but that could just be my personal preference. Both ramen bowls had distinct flavors: the shoyu had a raw/starchy coolness, while the tantan had the perfect hard noodle texture. I prefer my noodles firmer than most people I know, but I wished the cooking times were more consistent. One suggestion would be to ask customers how firm they would like their noodles cooked. Overall, though, I will definitely be back!

I am absolutely thrilled with this place! The dishes are not only delicious but also visually stunning. The menu may be small, but everything is crafted to perfection. There are no complicated extras to wade through, making it easy to choose. The standout Japanese beverages were also a highlight of the experience.

I stopped by Tokio Ramen for lunch today, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu to me. The ramen they recommended was incredible—rich in flavor and absolutely delicious. The menu has only a few options, but it's clear that they prioritize quality over quantity. I will definitely be returning!
