We were hungry and ordered a lot of food at this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We began with the fish cake appetizer and tried one of their buttermilk pastries. I really enjoyed the grilled pork chop with mango salsa - the portions were generous, but I managed to finish it all! The service was also excellent. Overall, I would love to return to this restaurant, despite the limited parking available in the building.
For our snack, we ordered Yama cake (P89), cheesecake (P112), carrot cake (P98), chow Sylvannas (P58), beef coffee with sugar crystals, mocha frap, and a military float (P138). To take home, I purchased rye pandesal (P80 for 10pcs), aji tsuke asado (P45), aji tsuke mochi red bean (P45), blueberry croissant (P45), choco bun (P45), and floss chicken (45). The cakes were three layers with filling in between, not too sweet but creamy and delicious. We concluded our visit by utilizing their 25% discount on bread and juices for our journey home. The menu includes brunch sets, appetizers, salads, soups, meat dishes, pastas, and burgers. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes.
At the lower ground floor of Northeast Square is Aomori Cafe Boutique. My family went there for a 4pm snack yesterday 08 November 2015. The place is very cozy with soft velvety chairs in purple and beige & white walls which greatly reminds me of royalty. The cafe can seat 36, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly & accommodating. The cafe has an open kitchen and a refrigerated display of french macaroons (P40@) and assorted cakes (price ranges from P45- P112). What striked me most was the section of assorted products that lined the 2 walls. It was filled with bottles of lemon / plum / honey / mulberry / longgan& reddate vinegars (P250/600ml) which are good alternatives to apple cider. Interesting likewise were the pouches of sugar crystals (sold at P295/500gms & P480/100gms) and the bread galore of whole wheat / rye / raisin rye / blueberry wheat / multigrain with walnut / squash /russian and other savories for the health buffs. All made from natural ingridients. Amazing little store !For our snack, we got slices of yema cake (P89), cheesecake (P112), carrot cake (P98), a piece of chow sylvannas (P58), brewed coffee seved with sugar crystals, mocha frap, milk tea float (P138). For take home, I bought Rye pan de sal (P80/10pcs), Aji tsuke asado (P45), Aji Tsuke mochi & red bean (P45), blueberry croissant (P45), choco bun (P45) & chicken floss (45). Cakes are 3layered with filling in between, not sweet (i swear !), creamy and delicious. We finished past 6pm & was able to avail of their 25%discount on breads & savories for our take home goodies.Their menu boasts of brunch sets , appetizers, salads, soup, meat / chicken & fish dishes, pastas & burgers. Will surely come back for more.
