Chivos Mexican Bistro Cantina

Chuy's serves Mexican food that is freshly cooked and much better than usual food served at Mexican restaurants. Baja style shrimp tacos with pineapple are delicious as is the chicken burrito.

First visit, crowded and very busy. No wait, got a hightop near bar, quickly got chip salsa. It was $2 Taco night! Ordered a few, they were great.

Ordered steak chicken fajitas with a medium margarita, (over $9.00). Got 3 small pieces (2.5” each) of steak and 4 small chicken strips, a few grilled vegetables. When I asked the waiter about it he defended the portions. I would suggest La Carretta instead.

Food is always good and yummy! My #1 Mexican restaurant around!

I picked up a to go order; the other food was fine but their carne asada was awful. It had an unpleasant smell to it. Basically inedible, I wouldn't feed it to a dog. Not coming back.
