Feedback gevenThoroughly enjoyed the meal. Ambience has always been great, but under new owners/creative chef, Nuvolari's has taken off. Menu is exciting, with specials and seasonal changes. Wine list is extensive and fairly priced. Same for wines by the glass. Service staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. Having the General Manager on the floor helps with the service. A
We had a reservation, were seated promptly. The manager greeted us and checked later on our meal. There was ample waitstaff and the food was described correctly. Among us we had the pompano, lobster ravioli, shrimp appetizer, redfish. All were presented beautifully and were excellent. We had four different deserts and they were great. We have eaten here for years, but this meal may have been our best. The bread is to die for, and comes automatically. A meal like this would cost a fortune in a larger city. We will return!
Everything exceeded all expectations!! I was literally wowed by the food last night. You just don't find these types of meals anywhere really but especially on the Northshore. I ordered off of the specials menu which was a special of a shredded pork with some kind of pasta which was the freshest clearly hand rolled pasta I have had probably ever, btw) and it also had some pickled peppers in it. I'm so sorry I don't remember the name of the dish, but I have literally told everyone I've spoken to since, about it! We also had the lamb hummus which was so unexpected and delicious and pistachio gelato and I couldn't say a single thing that wasn't great! I only want to eat here every weekend.
The redfish picatta was outstanding! My husband ate every bite! And the bolognese sauce on my pasta dish was rich and meaty excellent!! Our server, Jack, was great! Also delicious were the house made croutons on the Caesar salad.
We had the pleasure of dining at Nuvolari's tonight for their Steak and Lobster Night, and it was nothing short of amazing. This restaurant never ceases to impress with its constantly evolving menu and special events that keep things exciting. Always warm and inviting from the moment you arrive at the door. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the lobster was fresh, succulent, and simply to die for, with the au gratin potatoes which actually taste like your eating macaroni and cheese . The combination of these two dishes was a match made in culinary heaven. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant that offers more than just the usual fare, Nuvolari's is the place to go. The food is consistently exceptional, and the ever-changing events ensure that there's always something exciting to experience. Highly recommended
