New Sampathkumar Bhavan - Mand'ja

When my wife, child, and I arrived in Melukote at around 2 o'clock, we were looking for Subbanna Mess. Despite walking around 300 meters, we couldn't find it. However, we came across a new restaurant called Sampathkumar Bhavan on the way. Feeling hungry, we decided to go in. The restaurant was almost empty, with only 2 other customers. The seating was comfortable. We ordered 2 thali lunches, which were delicious and reminded us of homemade food. The lunch included pickle, paratha, gashi (chickpea curry), dry curry, rasam, rice, puliyogare, buttermilk, and extra salt. The puliyogare was particularly tasty, so we ordered another serving. We paid only Rs 140 for the meal. The owner's service was good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Melukote.

The total cost came to just Rs 140. The owner provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Melukote.
