Pastelaria Do Patronato - Mangualde

When in town “Mangualde” I always stop by one of my favorite places to enjoy a famous pastel the custard “Bean” and a coffee “Galao”.

When visiting Mangualde, this is a must stop. The Pastéis de Feijão are some of the best tasting in Portugal. It is uniquely tucked inside the courtyard of the church.

After you have done one or more road trips and are joining again the city of Mangualde, you can have a nice stop in the famous bakery listening to the name of “Pasteleria Patronato”, where everything is homemade and from a great quality. A hidden location in the city at a small walk from the tourist office, where you can enjoy a nice coffee with all kinds of sweets, and have a taste one of their specialty´s “Pasteis de Feijao”. We had 2 coffees and two sweets all this for 2, 40€. A nice and clean consumer room, very clean toilets, in one word worth the visit, certainly for the quality of the homemade products. We will return anyhow, it is not too far from our home.

Talvez os melhores doces da região. Os pastéis de feijão, guardanapos, caramujos (tamanho xxl), entre outros, todos muito bons. Espaço agradável. Infelizmente o atendimento merecia melhorar.
