The food was great as always loved how attentive our waiter was she continuously checked up on our table to make sure everything was okay. Our chef Jay was also great cooked the food to perfection. After everyone finished their meal our waiter even bought us complimentary ice cream and even took our photo and gave us a Benihana frame alone with it. 10/10 would come back and recommend.
My family and I always enjoyed dinning at Benihana. This time was very different. We were a party of 6 people and they sat a couple on our table. The woman had a milk allergy. So without asking me if it was ok. They check just cooked the couple’s food first. This woman had a lot of request. Mean while my husband and kids who but the way were starving. Had to wait for about 29 minutes until their entire meal was cooked and served to them. The woman didn’t even say thank to us for waiting. Then oil started dripping from the fan/ exhaust onto my kids plates. That’s was just disgusting. The waitress didn’t even bother to changed the plates. We had to grabbed other plates from the table next to us. No one informed the manager about the situation. The chef had to grabbed a napkins to clean the grease of the edge to stopped dripping. That only worked for about 5 minutes. When we were done I went up to the manager and all he said to me was. I’m sorry about the grease. Regarding the food allergy situation. He said there is nothing I can do. I just feel that they should have sat that couple at a separate table. Or have a table for people with allergies. Not only that our vegetables were over cooked, the rice was dried. We are not going back there. I am done with that restaurant.
Benihana is always a special treat for us, despite the rise in prices over the last few years.
Lunch is always easy here. Much less crowded and terrific service. I miss the salad and shrimp appetizer but the meal was filling.
