Browning's And - Manila

Our room was clean except for the stained sheets on one bed. There was no one to contact, the restaurant said they were too busy to take motel questions. Location was great for where we wanted to explore. Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Another nothing to write home about restaurant with inconsistent hours at least from the info in our hotel room. They 're only open in the afternoon as far as we could tell. It took quite awhile for our food to come and when it did it was not piping hot. I think my 8 medium sized onion rings must have sat waiting for awhile. The French fries were great! Yay! Burgers were ok, lime Ricky was ok. Prices reasonable. What I think is sad about Manila restaurants is that they have so much potential and could be great! We sat in a booth with a window that had a plastic water bottle on the window sill containing a clear brown liquid (resembling diluted tea) that was placed there (we 're assuming) to capture flies. There were six or eight dead flies in the liquid and one or two living ones who were trying to get out. Then there were another dozen flies swarming around the window sill where I was sitting, so it felt buggy. Yuck! And the window sill was a little sticky I know because I tried to rest my elbow there... ick! The atmosphere was down homey and rustic with a very country feel. The wait staff didn 't seem real happy to be there, but who knows! I just know that there 's not a lot to choose from in Manila, and this place has a lot of potential. The fly problem is an easy fix. Clean clean clean and then kill the flies and clean clean clean some more. It 's doable! I know it 's a small town but this place could be the best with a little more umph!

The food slaps ngl. We had a tried day, we needed some food to give us energy. We came here. They workers were really nice to us. The food was amazing. It fills you up. They have great choices of food. Must come here. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
