Place and chairs and tables are in dire need of renovations/replacements. But the food is really good and tasty. We ordered the calamares and spinach soup. The calamares was superb crispy and light batter, not oily and the squid was really fresh and tender. Spinach soup was a steal for php 138 which chunks of seafood and could be shared by 3 or more people. I'd like to go back but they should really renovate the place.
The place needs an upgrade! At first you would think twice on entering this establishment but the price on their menu is quite inviting. Come on who wouldn't be enticed with less than 100 meals? haha Since my friend and I are just killing time we opted for their merienda menu. Siopao (the texture of its dough are good, it somewhat reminds me of ma mon luk's one and Chicken Mami (which is on the salty side . Try if you're feeling adventurous. ;
This Chinese restaurant has been in Harrison Plaza for years. It offers Filipino-Chinese food for a budget-friendly price. The place hasn’t upgraded since so it looks old but the food, however, cheap maintained its quality. Our picks: Sliced beef with brocoli and mikimi or noodles with miki noodles. They have big servings too. They also allow take-out perfect for family celebrations. {uid:35785530}
The price is affordable but the ambiance of the restaurant doesn't look neat. Also, the service was slooooow! You'd think that their dimsum (we ordered siomai) is already prepared but it took around 20 minutes to serve that and another 10 minutes for our main meal (roasted chicken). The place has few customers when we ate here so there was no excuse to have slow service.
I was a student in a school near Harrison Plaza so I always passed this place. I remember my mom used to bring us here to eat Beef Mami. I wouldn't recommend people who are choosy about the location and cleanliness of the place. If you feel that the place looks too old or too dirty you can always buy food for take out. I can't really say much about the service but I've been around long enough to know that the service here varies from time to time. The food is great if you order the right things. I would recommend Siopao, Japanese Siomai, Yin Nan Fried Rice, Fried Spare Ribs w/ Salt and Pepper, and Beef Wanton Mami. I hope more people give this place a try and maybe they'll understand why it is still standing in a place as ever-changing as Harrison Plaza.
