Showed up at 4 (food service starts at 5). We were the first ones in the door. Had some amazing old fashioneds. The food was perfect. Check this place out if you?re in the north woods.
My second visit was as good as my first one. Fantastic menu, excellent staff, beautiful historic building? What could a guest ask more? I visited with several classmates in the class, and we enjoyed ourselves very much in Little Bohemia.
Food was good. The wait staff were a bit curt. Cool pkace of history with the Dillinger era. Can still see the bullet holes, and has a museum feel. Loved talking to other guests outside before dinner. Everyone so polite.
We went here for the first time ever and I've got to say the cod was amazing. The Prime Rib was super tough and not at all worth the price. So many other places that are way better. The artifacts in the Lobby while you wait and the bullet holes are so neat to see. Our waitress was great. Even though she was new and a vegetarian she gave great insight on the menu.
We enjoyed dinner here with a large group (12 people), and the service was fantastic. The food came out punctually and was delicious. The baked French onion was great as always, as was the Lake Superior whitefish amandine (a Friday night special). We also had the cheese curd and garlic bread appetizers. The history was a hit with the kids, and the owners have done a great job preserving it. We love coming over by boat and tying up at the docks given the restaurants convenient location on Little Star. We will be back!
