Miners Cafe - Mankweng

This little Cafe is wonderful. We stopped to try it out while camping nearby and were very happy we did. Lots of selection of coffees and drinks, sandwiches, salads and PIES! I couldn't believe they had a chocolate peanut butter pie my favorite all around flavor. We stopped in for a snack to tide us over until supper but my eyes were bigger than my stomach, lol. Chai latte, spinach salad, tomato soup and a piece of pie. Ooops. Staff is warm amd friendly. We are heading back again for lunch today as a reward for walking to town

Amazing atmosphere Excellent costumer service Had the large Glory Bowl and the Breakfast Wrap, and a slice of Banna Cream Pie for dessert. Hope to bring my vegan wife here next time.

This little place is great! We were visiting Alberta from Quebec as a family and had a long 6-7 hour road trip from Drumheller to Jasper. We decided to stop here after looking at the reviews, forgoing the later stop at Saskatchewan River Crossing which too touristy, 'last stop ' price-gouging kind of place. What a great decision to stop at this charming cafe! The food is great and the pies, Oh my god the pies! They have a great selection and I had a huge slice with lots of ice cream which was basically enough for my lunch! Family loved their food as well. Definitely recommend if you are doing a road trip via Route 11.

Amazing butter pecan pie with maple walnut ice cream after a long day of hiking in the area! Perfection!
