Le Gerre - Manno

I had to quickly get lunch before going back to work, so I decided to give it a go knowing it was five minutes distant. I ordered a pizza with no cheese as there were no better vegan options offered. The size was more than enough but it was supposed to be with grilled vegetables and I got it topped with boiled carrots and a few slices of aubergine and courgette. I also asked for chilli oil but it was old. Overall it tasted bland with no salt and had to go and find the waiter before getting it served... never got the chance for a coffee or else as I waited for almost 20 minutes before paying the bill at the cashier. Otherwise friendly staff.

Die Speisen sind ein bisschen schwer und der Service kann manchmal etwas langsam sein. Doch die Portionen sind großzügig und das freundliche Personal ist immer mit einem Lächeln dabei.

Ich habe täglich dieses Restaurant besucht, als ich in der Nähe arbeitete, und hatte immer eine großartige Zeit. Der Wechsel im Management hatte keinen negativen Einfluss, im Gegenteil, ich fand das Lokal jetzt schöner eingerichtet, was ihm seinen früheren Mensa-Charakter genommen hat. Große Portionen, sehr aufmerksamer und schneller Service, günstige Preise. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
