Mcdonalds Restaurants - Mansfield

The food was great and we enjoyed the table service. Our grandchildren finished all their dinner, but we had an issue with the tablets on the tables. Out of the four tablets, only one was working properly. This caused some argument among the grandchildren, and the other working tablet was upside down.

Came midweek lunchtime through the drive thru, there was no queue. Was asked to park in a bay because they needed a bit longer to “heat up my apple pie”...we waited OVER 5 minutes for them to heat up an apple pie ...and when a member of staff brought out our food all we got was a “Here you go.” No apology for our wait and not even a smile. I think you need to teach your staff about manners.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and satisfying for a quick meal. We tried the takeaway breakfast wraps with a Latte and really enjoyed it, especially considering the reasonable price. The restaurant also has ample parking available.

I had a terrible experience at the McDonald's on Nottingham Road in Mansfield today. I went with my 6-year-old daughter for a happy meal. After ordering and waiting for our meal to be served, I tried to find a place to sit. The restaurant was busy because of the school holidays, which I expected, but it was made worse by a large table full of face paints and modelling balloons. It seemed like they were meant to entertain the kids, but the people at the table were too busy on their phones to actually interact with the children. Just when I thought I had found a table available, a staff member told me I couldn't sit there because I hadn't been waiting long enough. She claimed there were people who had been waiting for hours, which seemed impossible since the restaurant wasn't crowded. I asked for my food to be packed up and asked to speak to the manager. Meanwhile, the family who had been saving the table sat down, even though they hadn't ordered or paid for their food yet. The manager told me they had only been waiting for 30 minutes, not hours like I was told. I was so upset by the lack of customer service and the unfair treatment. Other customers in the restaurant even offered me their tables as they left. I refused to sit down in a place where I was made to feel unwelcome. Absolutely appalling customer service!

Running a little late one lunchtime so called in for a McDs. Firstly it was difficult to find a seat, just got one but had to wait while it was cleaned. My wife and I ordered a normal meal deal, so nothing special. I know I should have said something but I was very hungry, the fries were limp, curling up and luke warm. The burger was tasteless and semi cold. The coffee was hot and tasty. I wish there had been a microwave for a quick blast to warm up the burger but it would have been no good for the fries. By the way why do they put salt on the fries for some of us it spoils the taste.
