Feedback gevenWe had to go to kings mill hospital. we had not been for a breakfast since march, we went to see if it had got any better. answer no, all tables dirty, lots of tables full of finished meals.sausage and bacon ok, rest of meal cold and lots of oil or cooking fat on plate.
A family got served same meal that came after us, staff dont know where table numbers are. Theres a young man serving/waiting on tables chewinhg gum and not didcreetly which wrong.
This cafe wins the worse cafe in uk award. Dirty tables- ive never seen so many pots Nothing stocked for lunch One poor staff member, elderly lady running around like a lunatic. While the others just look into space with no idea what they are doing. Staff with zero interest But they win this award based on their complete and utter disregard for food safety I have worked in a senior business manager for some of the biggest contract catering firms in the uk and ireland and i actually cant believe they are still operational! I did email this issue to head office but they are just as ineffective as their team on the ground. They dont get it from the ground! It obviosuly is a company wide issue.. We grabbed a quick lunch requested 2 ham sandwiches for the kids 1 child has a dairy allergy (serious one) I asked for a sandwich to be made, i explained situation with the allergy. Well id say i was interupting the lady on the tills easy day by bothering her and she abruptly told me to get one from the counter. I explained i needed one without butter because of the allergy situation. I was told they dont have butter on them grab one fromtl that counter! I did. Got to the table and opened the sorry sandwich (only say to describe it! The 5 year old with me could make better) Smoothered in butter!!! I mean smoothered!!! Luckily i had checked it before i handed it to our child. Went to the counter fuming!!! The lad who had taken the annoyed lady off. Seemed to be totally out if depth here. I mean i think he must have just finished his school day and was totally outof depth for this level.of customer service. I explained what happened.... He actually couldnt understand what my issue was. As theres no milk in the sandwich !!!! I mean seriously! Thats right people, OMG god how are these people even working here. Its actually scary, they will kill someone with an allergy! Being very confused he had to get a more senior staff member, who was just as complext by this sulituation They didnt know if they could make a sandwich as they didnt have ham ! HAM! Now if i was in a distant land, far away from civalisation i could understand but no ladies and gentleman this cafe is located you guessed it in a supermarket!!! Beyond words! WINNER OF THE WORSE CAFE AWARD GOES TO MORRISONS IN MANSFIELD only postive you have is your located next to kings mill hospital for life saving treatment should they feed you an allergen! They would get 0 stars if it was possible Well done morrisions an array of failures Its actually eye opening !
Sorry but not a good experience. It's been gradually getting worse but I can't think we will be going here again. The order screen had a problem, there were only 5 tables that were clear of dirty pots and there were only about 3 tables in use!! No sauce out anywhere so after queueing to ask I had a cold cob! The sausages were overcooked. It might be cheap but that is not always the best option!! Get the staff to actually clear up instead of standing around, that would be a start. Sorry, it's a no from us!
Trays all dirty, staff not smart or clean looking. dirty uniforms. beans cold, toast pale and not done on both sides. we will not be back.
