Seaqueen Fisheries - Mansfield

This restaurant is a rip off. The food has been terrible lately and I have no idea what's going wrong. I've tried their chips twice now and both times they tasted like sour oil, with a hard and dry texture. I gave it another chance after a bad experience, but now I'm done. It's way more expensive than other local chip shops, and the food just isn't good.

Awful, chips and pie hard as rock. Asked for another gravy as ordering for 3 people.£1.70 for a small gravy that was like water. curry sauce also like water and peas rock hard couldn’t get them out of the pot!! Used to be nice also very busy. I can only presume someone else has taken it over. PLEASE if you’re charging so high at least make your food edible !!! Won’t return.

Hi we went to this place on 26th April I asked for pie chips and gravy and OMG he put it in a box with holes in,I complained that the gravy is coming out the holes already he put it in the wrong box adamant that it was the rite box I said the gravy was already spilling out over the counter,he then changed the box to one that was half the size of the meal I was shocked.idiot springs to mind I had to tell him what box. He was actually running the shop. Chips tasted like they were yesterday’s absolutey disgusting never going back there again

Disgusting, asked for a small kebab and chips , £9-50 x 2 no pitta bread or salad , I have to say I didn’t order them or paid because trust me I would have walked out , and to top it off it was all cold when we got home , after ringing up to complain, the managers réponse was don’t come back because I complained, trust me I won’t be going back, worst experience I have had in years , be careful guys it all looks good from the front but there a total rip off ,

Haven’t been to sea queen fisheries for a while as haven’t been in the area But as passing thought I would try as used to be very good On menu board the price stated £9.30 for a large kebab thought this was very expensive but decided to carry on anyway asked for two sauces chilli and mayo It cost £10.30 when collecting food I asked if the sauces cost 50p each The reply was no they have up there prices again and haven’t change the menu board prices as they haven’t had time this is wrong advertising and is disgusting if your not aware before you order what you get charge Will not be visiting again and think they need to be held accountable for charging different to what there telling you the price
