Catman Cafe - Mansfield

This is a fun locals place with good food and great staff!

Very heavy on the 'local color. ' Good beer and food (and plenty of entertainment).

Went there for dinner on a Sunday night as a family. The place is run more like a bar with a side room as a restaurant. The decor seemed reall6 simple. The waitress was prompt taking our order and bringing out the food. The food was hit and miss. Tha nachos plate for an appetizer was ok. The pastrami sandwich and steak tips were great but the lasagna was barely OK. The rack of ribs was not properly cooked and tasted rather bad. I would definitely come back for sandwiches and beer but not for dinner.

This place was so freaking sketchy and the front entrance was so odd walking in was confusing and the cook was sitting down having a chat. There were random people walking around who looked like they may work in the kitched... do they work here? Maybe? I hope not. Oh boy. They also apparently don 't know the menu either. I guess chicken broccoli and ziti is only offered on Friday and Saturday because the chef makes it and we must have been given the wrong menu even tho we were given back the SAME menu to look at... its not noted anywhere...

Oh boy, lol. Food was good. Server was great, was also the bartender, she worked her butt off. I think her name was Jen. Very nice. The atmosphere, typical bar. Decor, oy. Smells like a bar if that makes sense. I hate to use the word dive, but I was reminded of that. Prices, reasonable. Not sure I'd I'd go back.
