Dave's Deli - Mansfield

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor, and I even found something disgusting in my food. I definitely do not recommend it!

I recently discovered Dave's while searching for a good deli in my area of Connecticut. It's about a 20-minute drive from where I live, but it's definitely worth it! They offer a wide range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everything is made fresh, which means you'll have to wait a few minutes for your order, but you can be assured that nothing is frozen or pre-made. In fact, the owner was preparing our chicken and eggplant right before our eyes, and you could really taste the freshness in each bite. The person making our sandwiches, who I assume is the owner, was incredibly friendly and engaging. I felt safe from COVID while dining there. Additionally, the prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. I would highly recommend this place!

Wow, this was amazing! I ordered an eggplant grinder with American cheese and mayo, and it was incredible. I can't even explain why it's so good—it’s definitely the best sandwich I've ever had. Trust me, I’ve tried many sandwiches, but this one is something special!

The sandwiches here are like giant grinders, made with freshly sliced meat. They're absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area.

This place has the best chicken cutlet grinder in the area! The ingredients are always fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. Nowadays, when I walk in, Dave often just asks if I'm having my usual, which I really appreciate!
