Longhorn Steakhouse - Mansfield

Food is hands down the best of any of the chain steakhouses. Feels like a local steakhouse and best prime rib I've ever had. Prices are not cheap but well worth it.

Family went after a college graduation. Enjoyed the meal. 2 of the party ordered the steak tips med rare. One came out med rare, the other med well. Apart from that the meal was done correctly. One person ordered the shrimp good amount on skewers), another the parmesan encrusted chicken and another chicken dish. A couple of desserts that were shared. pictured). My first time ever known LongHorn and have steak here. I like the atmosphere and the decorations in the restaurant. Good service. Texas Tonion was served in a large, long plate, and it is very crispy; the steaks were very well cooked and delicious, the drinks are also good. I definitely come back.

The service was good, but the meat wasn't as I expected. I didn't say anything about it, but definitely not what I lived on that chain. I'm going back because it was just an anomaly.

Before visiting here, if you had asked me the chances of a 5 star restaurant chain, I would have told you that it was essentially impossible. The way chain restaurants combine their menus and foods in today's market is usually not inspired, microwave and too generic to guarantee any strong recommendation. Well, I'm not sure what to tell you, but this special Longhorn in this city is doing everything right. The menu was not too big (although I imagined it), but what they put on there, they do very well. I had a Sirloin that was perfectly supposed and was much better than a Sirloin had some business to be. My wife had delicious salmon on a bed of rice with asparagus, who might have been the second best asparagus I've ever had. The prices were reasonable, the food was good, and the staff was nice. We waited a little longer for our food than we should have, but it wasn't exaggerated enough to knock off a star. I've always been beaten by those places that think they were another Texas Roadhouse. It seems that they are indeed a cut above this tariff. I will definitely visit another one of these places in another city and see if it was an anomaly, or if this chain is just so good.
