Divine and hearty dishes that will make you discover the typical flavors of the Corsican (seat plate, lamb mouse, local fishes without forgetting their stalking of sty jacques to the panzetta) a heart blow for the wide range of aperitive and liqueurs wines made home by corinne the owner, to test you will not be disappointed!to sum up, a funtana is a must in the surroundings. It is no longer by chance that we have returned there on 3 other occasions ^^
Staying in Corsican for 8 years and in different regions I have been able to test many restaurants and deguster many dishes. At a funtana, you will find a veritable home kitchen, which is delicious, both gustatively and visually! the dishes are excellent ( saint jacques a la panzetta, plate degustation -sanglier, calamar, charcuterie, cheese-, fresh espadon of the Gulf of Galaeria, mice of lamb - my stroke! - and very nicely present!Without forgetting the desserts! delicious!, neither the peripherals house (dangerine wine, orange, cherry etc.), as well as the digestives (my favourites: melon, verveine!)No other restaurants nearby (galeria and calvi too) will offer you this!If you are on galeria, don't hesitate to go up So, if you take a tour of the fango, go! as much as the restaurant and the gite are accessible tjs, whatever the fire risk (the prohibitions concerning only trails and trails.) finally, and not negligeable: the checks/tickets restaurant are accepted! You can go to the eyes closed!
Little corner of paradise at the end of the fango valley, the welcome is really nice, and what to say from the view! concerning the dishes, what to say apart to go back several times to taste everything!
Dejeuner en famille sous la tonnelle , air frais et bon accueil de la patronne .we have tasted a tataki of beef pané with sesame/peanuts with its honey sauce
This restaurant is really excellent with tasteful dishes. Certainly it is at the bottom of the valley but it also makes its charm. A good address in a welcoming setting!JF
