Jack's Pizza Cafe - Manteca

There has been a new owner at this restaurant for the past year. They have introduced a new menu featuring plant-based pizzas and they also have a bar. The restaurant has plenty of space for events and birthday parties.

I used to avoid this restaurant because the old owner was very rude. If I didn't have the flyer for the 50% discount on Tuesdays, she would argue with me and refuse to honor the discount. However, my manager informed me that there is a new owner now, so I decided to give it another try. The new owner is a very kind person, and I love their pizzas - they are the best in the city. Even if there are no special deals, he always tries to offer a lower price. I am grateful for the new owner and will continue to frequent this restaurant.

I really enjoy the wings and pizza at this restaurant, but I have noticed that lately, even on weekends, it has been closing before 9pm. According to Google Maps, it is supposed to be open until 10pm. I'm not sure what's causing the discrepancy in the closing time.

As a trucker, my husband and I get to see and enjoy the kitchen all over the country. Honestly, California is the state we're leaving. However, going to the door here, we were greeted with a smile and welcome by the owner. The buffet consisting of three pizzas and a salad bar had no pizza yet. No problem, just means it's fresh, right? That's it. The cheese was stringy and melted. They use small peppers that cook perfectly. I was impressed by how great it was. If you have difficulty deciding between Chicago or New York, the debate is over. This is the best of both worlds. The crust is thick and saucy like in Chicago. The topping is extremely fresh and the cheese is as fussy as New York. Overall, the environment is the food and the practical price a victory for us.

Very friendly, great food and not too long for food. We went with our nephew, he's 10 months old, and they don't mind his loud chatter, they also have an arcade area for the children, and they had an explosion. Would definitely go back.
