Queijaria Manteigas

It is really a cheese/charcuterie/sandwich spot with a bar. The cheese plate was excellent, as well as the green salad (with tomatoes, grapes, berries, cheese, Iberian ham, etc). There was a good wine list, and the local wine was excellent. The service was very good and very friendly. Nice views from the window tables.

Excellent lunch with local cheese, ham and jam served in a really nice restaurant with views over the valley. Really nice staff (who spoke English) and great coffee to finish. Well worth a visit

Well prepared, well presented tapas and a good list of Beira wines. A very good view over Manteigas in the middle of the Serra D’Estrela. The service was good and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine list. The cheese and meat board is a standard choice but other dishes were good too. Very easy to pass a couple of hours! Good conversation with the staff who recommended other places to visit in Manteigas and were interested/enthusiastic about their town and its history.
