Cia Bar on the Beach - Manzanillo

Beach has a lagoon on one side and a calm beach on the other. Some restaurants bring their tables all the way into the water so your feet can be getting wet while you eat. Had some privacy from hawkers which is nice. Went mid-week as part of city tour. Great area for kids to play in water.

We've visited CIA a number of times over the course of a few months and each time the vibe has been different. At first it was a fun place to have a few drinks and snacks. Another time it had a guitar player for entertainment and the third time the owner told us that he is changing things for this to become a disco and it had a small dance floor and fairly loud music playing. CIA has a nice location right on the beach with seating on the sand as well as on the patio or inside. It can get quite windy with the breeze coming in from the ocean. We found that the margaritas, served in martini glasses, are quite small compared to the margaritas at other restaurants/bars in Manzanillo.

CIA is a fantastic little bar. The staff is awesome, the beer is cold and the sandwiches are delicious. Not to mention the very comfy chairs!! Our new favourite place to hang out with friends!!

This is one of the most romantic bars on the beach. CIA opens at 2 pm and has fun music and promotions daily. At night the lights are tropical and warm on the beach. The views are spectacular at night looking at the lights of Centro Manzanillo...The Port....and along the beach to CIA. Great date place and fun to meet friends for some laughs. Thanks CIA for the service and great place to view the romantic moon.

The bar is located on the beach and in what can be considered the bar and restaurant row section of Manzanillo on main boulevard. Staffed by American, British and Mexican team, the bar offers hearty American fare such as sloppy joes, and meat balls, extensive cocktail list and beer, whisky, etc. Prices are excellent and atmosphere is quiet where one can hold conversation without shouting in another's ear. e
