A wonderful experience. My girlfriend found one of her favorite wines that day, it was the lemon flavored wine I believe. The host of the tour was also great to talk to, he came all the way from the UK. Unfortunately we were not able to do the tour of the vineyards since they were not in season yet. But the cellars and the tasting was great!
We did not like the red wine. At all. Ambiance and the staff were wonderful, but we couldn’t finish our glasses.
Inside it is noisy and a bit chaotic but the patio is a very nice experience. Vinyards are beautiful
We have frequented AquaViva in the past but our visit this time was very disappointing. We ordered martinis and were charged $3 extra for olives for each drink. Both pimento and blue cheese olives. The steak was fatty for $49, the shrimp were the small frozen kind, the scallops were not even seared, just hard and overcooked. The wine was not too bad for an Illinois vineyard. Too expensive for sub-par food. Bring your own olives if you go!
