Azafran Bistro - Maple Valley

Food was bland and not very authentic Mediterranean food. Service was horrible. Place needs a lot of work inside as well. I would not waste money here when there are much better places a little further away.

I had found that place on Groupon and we gave a shot. When they brought us a menu, I was a little shocked with prices, every dish was close to $30, no free appetizer at all. Just a few menu items on the menu. I 've ordered rice with Kebab and beer, the beer was close to expiration date. The rice was unsalted at all. The meet was just average, I didn 't feel much flavors, that usually expected at Mediterranean style food. My husband 's dish was on a skewer and the rice was burned a little. What can I say, I don 't think that I will ever come back to the place.

Super great food, amazing flavor profiles, but always dead.

I have attempted to dine here three times over two months. Everytime they were closeed during normal business hours. Of the two times before I did dine there, one time was fabulus, the other time was a disaster. It seems to me a foodie with short pockets tried to make a go of it. Unfortunately, just like the last three attempts at rebooting the location, they could not make a go of it. Great location in MV but the building must be built on an Native burial ground. Nothing thrives there.
