Great quiet place to eat!! I always enjoy El Maguey live the food and it's nice and comfortable!!

I will start by saying I believe they must have a new cook. That being said, the food was horrible. I ordered cheese nachos, when they came out the cheese was not melted and there were clumps of cheese on the chips. For my entrée, I ordered the Speedy Gonzales, which consists of one beef taco, one beef enchilada and choice of rice or beans. I always ask for the beef enchilada to be chicken. The food was solid. The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and expert at what they did. Update 11/26/22: All still true.

Stumbled onto this gem of a restaurant! Clean, great service, authentic food!! Will be back. I had the Chile relleno, dd had quesadilla, ds had tacos.
