Margaritas were mostly sour mix... terribly over priced!

I have been coming here for quite a few years and today was not a good day. Went in ordered two margaritas and a skillet of the fajita chicken with two of the salads. Well, we got the order. One of the salads was fine. The other salad was just lettuce and guacamole and sour cream no refried beans nor Rice fajita chicken skillet 90% onions 5% green pepper 5% chicken there’s no way I’m gonna pay that price for that so I sent it back. This is the first time since I’ve been going there. This is kind of disappointing here lately. the food has been kind of going down , I’m gonna give it two more chances. I’m just have to find another spot. There’s too many Mexican restaurants to have to deal with things like that.

Fun atmosphere, margaritas were perfect. The food is delicious and nice sizes portions. Would definitely come back here again.

Loved the margarita flight, it was fun. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were delicious. The chorizo dip was one of the best I've had as well.

My family and I have been going to San Jose for at least 8 yrs. It has went downhill. Tonight (Sunday) my son and were seated immediately. We sat there and waited and waited for someone to take our drink order. No one ever came to our table. A table of 3 adults and 5 children came in sat across from us and within 5 mins waiter was taking their drink order (That was 20 mins of us sitting at our table with no drink order). We finally got up and left and were given strange looks.This was not the first time that we had to get up and walk out for sitting with no service for 20+ minutes. 8 yrs. We have gone and poured our gratitude and money into San Jose. This was the last time we will go to San Jose.Service needs serious improvement. We will gladly be patrons of El Agave Mexican Restaurant in Sunset Hills, as our 8 yr. loyalty to San Jose doesn't matter to their establishment.
