Taste Of Bosnia - Mar del plata

I had forgotten how amazing Bosnian food is. So I saw the restaurant on a recent trip to St. Louis and was blown away by how amazing the Cevapi was! Great service too!

First time eating here and it was excellent! Food was excellent. Ordered carry out and it was really fast. Will definitely have to dine in next time and enjoy the atmosphere.

Wow! First off, this was my first actual experience of Bosnian cuisine. Many of our office rank Taste of Bosnia as the BEST in the area and they definitely set the bar!As a group, we ordered the Sarme (cabbage rolls), Mjesano Meso (meat platter), Buffalo Chicken, Kupus salata (cabbage salad) Jahnija (stew).Everyone devoured their food. I had the cabbage rolls, and they are delectable! Filled with a finely minced meat, saurkraut then covered in a sauce, I was blown away by the balance of flavors. The thick moist scoop of mashed potatoes was perfect to mix with the meal.All meals came with thick, fresh bread which was a nice treat sour cream to spread on it.The restaurant was sparking clean with a warm, welcoming interior. I was surprised to find out the restaurant isn't brand new, as every single space is immaculate and well decorated.The service was excellent as well. The lady at the counter was super polite asking if I've been here before, then welcomed me as a guest.I cannot wait to try the whole menu. If you want authentic Bosnian cuisine, then this is an absolute must. If you want to feel comfortable full with savory delicious food in a welcoming welcoming environment then DEFINITELY come here.I will be back with my family!Parking: The parking lot is MASSIVE wide open. The location is easy to find and across the street from Tuckers.Kid-friendliness: This is the epidimy of clean, family dining. It's a nice quiet location. I'm taking my family for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is in an open strip mall. However, there is a vestibule which is nice, but sometimes difficult to navigate in a chair. The restaurant interior is wide open and spacious.

I would highly reccomend Taste Of Bosnia!! The food was delicious. My husband and I tried the chicken soup, the beef soup, punjena paprika and pileci paprikas and everything was amazing. The atmosphere is very nice, great spot for a casual date night. Come early because they can (and do! sell out of popular dishes! We will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of trying this wonderful Bosnian food and all I can say is I left extremely pleased and the service was outstanding, if you want genuine Bosnian food and music this is the place for you.
