Sandwiches are nothing to write home about but the soups are always great perfect portions

On our trip east on the TransCanada highway, there is often an over abundance of fast food brands. We read about this small independent restaurant in the Marathon Mall, a very few km. off the highway. We had the soup(choice of 2) and sandwich(choice of 4 or 5 on choice of 3 breads, toasted or plain) special. The soups smelled very good, and tasted even better. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and price reasonable. I was even allowed to sit at a table where I could plug in to recharge my Ipod. The decor is intriguing with elephant theme paintings and sculptures everywhere. Well worth the small trip off the highway.
