The old town of marbella is winner! off the pomp and ceremony of puerto banus, this is a real taste of authentic Spanish! the road is narrow and the tapas is delicious! after much consulting we ended up in the central, especially due to their selection of tapas plates. we also sat at a beautiful place in the sun. to counteract the heat, I ordered a beer and to my surprise it came in a frozen glass together with some cubes. I would normally not order a water beer, but that was a rivet that allowed me to cool off. on eating we ordered 5 tapas plates together with gambas pil pil and kartoffel bravado (note that they come cold more like a kartoffel salad). the best of the tapas dishes was the chunky chorizo cooked in red wine sauce! the whole meal was great, but quite expensive. my advice is to buy around in the old town of marbella, because after this meal we had a walk around and found other more sensible places! but for this visit it is a solid 4 stars!
Comida deliciosa, precios asequibles, personal amigable y cerveza super fría.
