Candilejas - Marbella

We have eaten here a number of times and always come back, The welcome is warm, the menu is basic but the food is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. What's not to like. Excellent!

Went here again with some family members who were in Marbella visiting and we decided to go here for a meal, we ordered just a hand full of dishes and all were realy fresh and well cooked, you get a basket of warm bread with butter and a little bowl of their garlic butter, yum. The entrecòte was so tender and their bearnaise sauce was smooth and rich, also the home made Spanish ham croquettes were great, I must say I have never had a bad meal here, although I don't eat pizza or pasta when I go here so don't know what they are like but the table next to us had and they looked very nice, the couple acted like that they were good! This is not a place to go to for a quick sandwich or burger, this is a place to chill talk and enjoy the view. A must when in town.

We return to this restaurant every year, the lasagna is hands down the best I have ever had! Amazing sangria and the perfect spot to people watch! You won’t be disappointed

Fabulous restaurant, excellent food and service and friendly staff. What more could you ask for! Definitely worth a visit and should have been a lot busier than it was. Do yourself a wee favour and go here you will love it!

We where looking nice place to eat lunch by the sea and found Restaurante Candilejas. The 'lunch today ' was good and so was the service. We will definitely come back again!
