Hostal El Gallo - Marbella

We ate here with some friends on a quiet Monday evening. There were a few other groups inside but it wasn't as busy as we'd seen it at the weekend with loads of locals outside. The food was really good, simple but tasty. The tapas was varied and interesting. Portion sizes for main courses were quite large but some of the party managed a desert. The house rose was very good. Overall cost was good value and we weren't stinting ourselves. Worth walking to find.

We stay here at the Hostal, so had breakfast on one occasion; delicious huevos con becon, great coffee, nice toast. Perfect start to any day. Dinner here is a delight. The restaurant is pleasant, bright, very well staffed by a great bunch of people. Over two delicious dinners here, we ate Kingklip (fish) twice, Pork Cheeks, Pork Cordon Bleu. Crunchy side salads and crispy homemade fries on the side, splash of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon! Absolutely delicious!! Good wines too.

No nos alojamos en este Hostal,pero si vinimos a comer a su Rte. La comida casera muy aceptable. Relación calidad-precio excelente Los camareros muy atentos. Lo recomiendo si pasas por Marbella. El único pero; -Que esta algo escondido,pero preguntando a los lugareños enseguida se encuentra.

Nada especial que comentar, la comida estaba buena pero es la tradicional de siempre, el servicio fué un tanto lento y algo despistado pero la ubicación es inmejorable en el casco antiguo de Marbella.
