Los Sardinales - Marbella

Visited this restaurant was fairly busy for lunch, so that was a good sign, as people mentioned in previous reviews the Staff were arrogant. I have been coming to this area for 45 years and never experienced anything like this. One waiter came then he couldn’t be bothered to take the order, then another waiter appeared and eventually our order was taken. They kept serving other tables who had the lunch menu of the day, they never offered us that, they gave us the large more expensive menu, we did not realise until our order was taken. Then we sat for 3/4 hour with dirty plates in front of us, they eventually got the hint when I cleared the table myself. Not a smile or a nice greeting from any of them, I think the owner appeared at some point and just stood staring, not even a welcoming smile. The food was not particularly appetising either. If you want a warm welcome, don’t come here.

Good service, great food. Arroz caldoso was superb, highly recommended. Fresh fish served, sole and monk fish was great. Couldnt be better located, beside the beach. Great day! Proffesional service from the restaurant team.

We were directed to a small table cramped into a corner, when we sat down the smell of sewage hit us it was so unbearable we began to gag and felt extremely uncomfortable:

Durante muchos años un muy buen restaurante . Pero hoy marzo 10, 2024. Javier, el encargado Venezolano, no tuvo ni la experiencia, ni la capacidad, ni el respeto de tratar a una familia con una señora de 93 años. Lo recomiendo en su comida, pero nada más allá, creo Javier debe entender y saber resolver situaciones. Para mi, a pesar de ser un excelente restaurante. No regreso más, no aceptan propinas en tarjeta… el mesonero dijo, no puedo “TOCAR” efectivo), no ofrecieron pus café. Habiendo tanta opción de Restaurantes en esta maravillosa Marbella, Los Sardinales, se queda detrás en servicio: 2/5, comida 3/5, en general 2/5.
