Marek's - Marco Island

The restaurant is charming and conveniently located, and the food was satisfactory. It may not be my first choice on the island, but I would come back for the convenience.

It's been a while since we last visited Marek's, and we won't wait long to return. We had a fantastic experience! The goat cheese and beet salad was delightful, and both entrees were outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We had high expectations for our dining experience, but unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. The air conditioning seemed to be off, and it was hard to enjoy our meal while sweating. I ordered the house Pinot Grigio, and even at half price during happy hour, it wasn't worth it; it was overly sweet. The meal itself was just mediocre, served in a rather shabby chic setting, and dessert was a letdown as well. We might consider coming back for drinks and appetizers when the weather is cooler, but we won't be returning for a full meal. Additionally, when I tried to make an early evening reservation, the owner made it seem like she was doing me a huge favor.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the service. The building itself is quite fascinating.
