L'aromate - Marennes

Excellent food. Good service unusual in France! A beautiful selection of dishes, all excellent presented, great wines and beautiful atmosphere. I hope to go back regularly.

Lots of choice on the 23.50 euro set menu, three courses , good size portions ,with a glass of wine included. Pleasant surroundings and efficient staff. We will return

We ate here as a large family group of 7 adults and 7 kids, which they were happy to accommodate. From moment we arrived, we felt as though we were trouble for them. the first issue was the waitress spilled a tray of 7 syrup...drinks over my daughter and surrounding kids. She immediately reacted as though it were our fault, however she faultered and dropped it. There was glass everywhere and we were met with tuts, and no apologies. They could have been gracious and it would have been fine but this waitress was very rude and management did nothing to recover it. The food was actually great and I left feeling if you were a group of locals it would be a lovely place to go. I'm sorry to the management but we could not wait to leave because of how they handled our group.

Ate here on a Saturday night in October and it was busy with local people who obviously rate the quality of the food offered. We could only agree, for apperatif we had the most amazing sunset across the bay (see Picture) followed by a beautifully...presented and tasty meal. Our French is flawed, so the help with the menu by the attentive waiter was much appreciated.

L’aménagement de la salle et de la terrasse ont été améliorés. L'avant-terrasse est idéale avec la vue sur le pertuis mais protégée du vent et du soleil. Les menus du marché sont trais bons. A noter particulièrement les entrées et les desserts qui sont originaux et très bien présentés. L'accueil et le service sont agréables. Les prix (26 € pour le menu du marché : entrée-plat-dessert + 1 verre de vin) sont très corrects au regard de la qualité de la cuisine.
