Nakama Sushi - Margate

Fantastic spot! The sushi was amazing, and I really enjoyed the flavors in the dishes I ordered. I would definitely recommend it!

This is a mom and pop hole in the wall sushi place. The fish is fresh, tasty, and their menu includes unique house special rolls. We tried the Truffle Roll and I highly recommend it if you like truffle. I’ve never had it paired with sushi and it’s really an excellent flavor combination. Our waiter, Pan, had us laughing and helped set the mood for a fun evening!

Me and my wife just tried Nakama sushi and it was really a great experience. The service was helpful and tentative. Probably the best tasting vegetable ive ever had was the crispy bok choy. The interior was nice and cozy japanese stlye bar. I will definitely be a returning customer.

We waited for 30 minutes to get our food but it was so worth it! The food was delicious and looked really good. Will definitely come back to try more food from their menu

The previous owners made this spot a solid choice for Thai takeout, especially since it was closer than Jasmine. While it's not quite as good, it's definitely better than many others in the area. However, under the new ownership, I found that the sushi prices are higher than at any nearby restaurant. They don't offer the larger rolls typical of most sushi places; instead, their specialty rolls are about the same size as regular ones. The sushi tasted fresh and was well-prepared, and it looked appealing, but the prices seem excessive for the quality and location. The Mongolian beef looked great, but unfortunately, it was likely worse than what you'd get at Panda Express. I genuinely wish them the best, but for $65, I expected more.
