The Otter Den is a hidden gem. A mixed lot of friendly people, Ninja Barkeeper, hands on property and lots of appealing rituals. Pool, darts. Sports. Clean. I'm coming.

I came here with my two friends to grab a few drinks and relax after a long day in football. Wee ordered 3 tequilas with sprite, we have 3 tequilas with soda water. After that, I told the bartender that it wasn't sprite and he said yes, then he said they didn't have sprite? Overall the spot es kinda small with rude bartenders

Great bar with a great staff. The owner is the best and the bartenders are top notch. I'll say it's the best place on the Monterey Peninsula!! Thanks Otters Den!

This is my go to place for a Friday night or actually any night if I want to shoot pool and have a brew. Owner and bartenders are nice and friendly and the people that go here are very cordial.

Manager is an a**hole. I felt discriminated, was refused service as soon as I sat down. Apparently the Mgr. believed I had previously been drinking. I'm a senior citizen who's encountered the particular person only once before. Surely my character was in question by a total stranger. That's called discrimination plain and simple. They lost a return customer for good.
