Japanese curry chain with customizable spice levels. Free garage parking available. Credit cards accepted. came here for dinner on a Friday night and arrived immediately (it was at 7:00). The interior is available as well as the take-out. The curry sauce is thick and tasteful. You can choose which level of spices you want; I went for a six and I think I personally had gone higher. You have mild options. Vegetarian options are available. The portion sizes are generous and you can get two portions from a plate. The staff were nice and the atmosphere is casual.
CoCo Ichibanya is one of my favorite LA restaurants. Her curry packs a ton of taste without being hard and goes perfectly with her chicken stall. Usually I add mushrooms to the curry, but they are many options available. Make sure to get one of their naan to enjoy every last drop of the curry!
I liked the possibility to cure the spiciness and to indicate the amount of rice. The packaging for the exits was nice as it separated the curry sauce from rice and the pig chicken Katsu (Frittierte Schweinhühnchen-Schnell).
This place is located on Wilshire Blvd and in Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Parking won’t be easy but we came in on Sunday so we got a spot for free. The food is okay. The staff are friendly. They are still practicing distance protocol so they limit people who wants to dine in and so, we had to wait for our turn. Their menu needs to be scanned by your phone. They provide wifi for that too! We love Japanese curry from Japan and this is the closest to it but I gave it 4 stars because it didn’t taste like the food in Japan which is of course, authentic Japanese curry.
