The room is designed by BEAUTIFULLY and looks directly from a West Elm catalogue. I love Stark's for Sunday brunch, dinner with girl friends, and it also has the intimate charm that makes it the perfect place for a date. We recently came to a late-in-the-day brunch and actually caught their happy hour! Some excellent dishes that we absolutely loved were the Double Cut Pork Chop (the Tangerine Whiskey Linse blew away our taste buds), Pan Seared Scallops (soo delicate and the brown butter was to die), and the oysters (only available $2/per while Happy Hour and Brunch). For the avid seafood connoisseur, this menu is hard packed with incredible fish dishes cooked for straight perfection! It is rare to find a restaurant that is both aesthetically local and serves delicious dishes. Each record photographed amazingly, and we have eaten our experience here at Stark's. We also recommend your way through their incredible cocktail menu that has something for every spirit lover. My favourite was the Pica Fresca (picture).
The food was absolutely delicious in this place. Love that they have vegan options and the atmosphere is great. It's almost like eating someone in the open house, unlike a stuffy restaurant. It has the home feeling to feel it, the food here feels comfortable. Although our server was interesting, he has not ruined our time there. Would definitely dinate here again.
Stark’s is located in an excellent corner at the end of the 90, when you enter Marina del Rey, welcome oasis for anyone looking for great food in a stunning environment. This landmark building has been transformed into an elegant and tastefully modern space that offers a variety of settings for your mood. The architecture was used to its full advantage to create the cozy feeling of a house with large open areas, while on natural lighting to create the feeling of interior and exterior door eating. During this visit we stopped for brunch and were tried by many articles from the menu! We ordered the eggs Benedict and breakfast Burrito, but started with a sticky rabbit and sweet corn cake. All we had was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. The service was warm and attentive. For beginners, the sticky bungalow is a sweet and sinful pleasure, which is enormous and fluffy, with a chewing, caramel pecan topping and a light whipped cream cheese. Nice to share with the table or be ready to take a few home! The sweet corn cake was with some cube paprika for a southwestern twist savory. The eggs Benedict were an increased reception on this breakfast classic. Placed on a fresh cookie bottom, the roasted tomatoes and grilled pig bells were welcome elements and the Hollandaise was perfectly balanced with the right hint of lemon. The side of the roasted grip potato was the perfect addition! The breakfast Burrito was huge and included thin-cut pastrami, which was a nice change of the pace from the typical bacon. Now that we have experienced brunch, we cannot wait to come back and try the lunch and dinner items. Strong feels like a matching next chapter for this room and it seems nice to set up!
First timer, the deviled eggs oysters were delicious, fish tacos were a little bland. The staff is really nice and the restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely want to come back and taste other dishes!
Top notch, elite restaurant with very affordable prices. I go to Charthouse cause I live right next to it. But Stark's has better food at a fraction of the prices of Ruth's Chris and Charthouse. Trust me.. this is a neighborhood goodie that you do not want to see fold up and close shop.
