Applebee's Grill - Marion Township

Took my children for dinner as a reward for good grades. Their meals were fine, but mine was ice cold. No water refills and I didn’t eat any of my meal. My meal was taken off the bill. The bathrooms had a very strong smell of urine. Won’t be back anytime soon. Obvious zero work ethic and doubtful in line with the Applebee’s franchise.Update: management attempted to reach out and bribe me to come back with a $25 gift card. I politely declined as we don’t want a hand-out. We just demand stellar customer service. Take the hand-out money and use it to properly train and retain staff.

This Applebee's has good food and good service. Recommended.

Update: I 'm one of those people who is socially awkward and always worried about offending people. I 've also been a server and try to always be polite. So when I waited at the bar counter for a few minutes to ask the waitress if we could get refills (our food had arrived five minutes earlier and my husband and son had been out of their soda since before that), I made sure to be smiling and say please to let her know I understood it 's hectic, right?That apparently meant nothing to our waitress who gave me a very offended look, waved her hand around in a circle, and said yes. I 've got multiple sections. I was so taken aback my smile froze on my face and I just nodded and said okay. I was embarrassed and walked away feeling scolded. This isn 't something socially awkward people forget, so I won 't be back.Oh, and the guacamole that came with my Teex Shrimp Irresistabowl was frozen.Original post from a prior visit:Great service and amazing food. We loved getting to spend our evening with Cory! It was excellent service! And we loved the time we got to be there!

We were promptly seated and young man, (forgot his name) took our orders. We both ordered boneless wings, onion rings and they were so over cooked, we could not eat them. Hard as bricks!! Our waiter gave us a small discount but not much compensation for totally un-eatable. Waiter felt bad .
