Catfish night was very good ?. Service was great ?. I will return.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, paved parking on same level with floor.
The service was terrible and the waitstaff seemed completely untrained. It took 90 minutes to receive our food. There are much better dining options in the Marion area, so I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
My husband and I had a great experience at this no-frills BBQ spot in Illinois while traveling to Atlanta. We always choose local eateries over fast food, and today was dedicated to BBQ. The BBQ sandwiches—either turkey or pork—were only $2.99! We both opted for plates. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich plate, which came with a generous serving of delicious fries, chow (coleslaw), and a drink for just $10.99. I chose the turkey with a side of corn nuggets and a half sweet tea, which was quite tasty. The turkey was simply prepared, featuring tender slices of breast seasoned with a rub. This place has a genuine local vibe and is impressively clean. The service was outstanding! The staff provided excellent recommendations, and since I couldn't have a bun due to recent gluten sensitivities (ugh!), she kindly gave me a cup of chow instead, which was very thoughtful of her!
This charming little spot can get quite busy, attracting many locals. The service is quick, and the sweet tea is quite delightful. The catfish, hush puppies, and potato salad were all enjoyable. However, the chicken was a bit dry, and the spare ribs were just average.
