Union Street Pub - Marion

Lovely staff, delicious food, and a good selection of drinks. My wife and I visited during an off-peak time and were the only customers there. The staff were not bothered by our arrival and we found it humorous how quiet it was. We appreciate the dedication to preparation and will definitely be back.

We had the patty melt and burgers, one with fried with homemade chips. Super good and juicy. I could have eaten two orders from chips, they were great!

Where do I start. My first course was the chili which I assumed would be a safe bet. I could not have been more wrong, it was a bowl of sour rancend slip, even the PREPACKAGED crackers were stale. Lord knows how long they had to been sitting around that place in order to be stale. Our next course was the prime rib sandwich with a side of “chippers”which was no more than a pile of gristle on some Texas Toast. The “chippers” were soggy pieces of cardboard that could have been slung across the room and would have stuck on the wall. Basically, you’ll should not be able to stick your fork through a chip and not have it break. The waitress/manager was nothing but nice and accommodating and this star goes to her and nothing else. I highly advise you stay away from this establishment. It’s a real shame since the restaurant that was there before this one was one of the best in the area. Not sure where all these 5 stars are coming from. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
