When my wife inquired if they had any gluten-free bread, the person behind the counter laughed and said, gluten-free bread.??? I don’t know nothing about that we ain’t got nothing like that back here She shook her head at us and acted like we were idiots for asking I asked her if we could purchase a loaf from the store and bring it to her and she could make a sandwich. She made another funny noise and said I guess so. So that’s what we did. We then proceeded to wait almost 30 minutes for our two sandwiches to be made. And we had to ask for the rest of our loaf back. I’ve never been made to feel more unwelcome at a delicatessen before. Would it kill the store to have one freaking loaf of gluten-free bread behind the counter?
Can you guys teach your sandwich people how to heat a sandwich? I circle “yes” on the HOT section of the form. Put arrows pointing to it. And somehow, every time without fail, your apparently illiterate sandwich makers behind the counter give me an ice cold sandwich. What exactly is the deal? Please retrain them on how to read a form. It’s not that difficult to look at the form, see “Yes” circled under HOT, and heat the sandwich.
They don't put everything in your grocery bag at the check out stand. Things can and could get left get left behind. You put your trust in them to put everything in your bag and when they don't you leave the store without all of your things. My guess is they put it back on the shelf and sell it again.
Excellent store where you can find good quality fresh produce.
Great shop, great range and good prices. The opening times are also worth mentioning.
