The place is ok we had a family event here and the floors were very sticky.

Big shout out to Grand Marais Lighthouse restaurant owner, cook, and hostesses on yesterday (January 14) for opening their doors to accommodate my sister, Georgette's birthday dinner. Were they was going to close because of weather, staffing and shortage of food due to a big party the night before they opened their doors for us. Food was delicious with only 1 cook, service was exceptional with only 2 hostesses and they got all our orders correct in a timely matter. I thank you for your hospitality and everything you did to make our eating experience great. Can't wait to get Soul Food Sunday back because my church, North End M.B.Church, 463 N. 88th Street, E. Excellent Buffalo fish! Staff is extremely friendly and kind!

We arrived at closing and was treated as we were the first customer of hour! The was delicious and we had to take mom a plate and she was pleased Thanks to our Sunday hangout for dinner and thanks to my auntie Sherry tellingmeaboutthisspot!

Beautiful place, and well manicured grounds. However, the outside terrace could use a coat of paint, but that doesn't take away from the overall impression or decision to return.
